The People Project Marketing Team Named Design Finalists
The People Project’s Marketing Team are incredibly honoured to share that they have been named a finalist in the Design category for the 2026 CareSuper Business Excellence Awards.
With a record 140 applications received this year, simply being recognised as a finalist is something we are immensely proud of. To be acknowledged alongside so many outstanding businesses and organisations across Northern Tasmania is both humbling and inspiring.
For our marketing team, made up of Joel Foffani and Hayley Tatnell, this recognition reflects far more than great design. It celebrates the power of purpose, collaboration and creating meaningful connections with the communities we serve.
A Brand Designed Around People
Over the past year, The People Project has undergone a complete brand transformation in partnership with Red Jelly. Together, we reimagined our identity to better reflect who we are today while creating a strong foundation for the future.
The rebrand was about much more than a new logo or colour palette. It was about creating a brand that genuinely represents our values, our people and the diverse communities we support across Tasmania.
From there, our marketing team has worked to bring that brand to life across every touchpoint.
Bringing One Brand to Four Service Areas
One of the biggest challenges and opportunities has been creating a consistent visual identity and voice across our four key pillars:
Each area serves different audiences with different needs, but all share the same commitment to putting people first.
We’ve worked hard to ensure every brochure, flyer, social media post, website page, event, presentation, campaign and piece of merchandise feels unmistakably like The People Project while still speaking authentically to each community.
Whether someone is attending one of our conferences, seeking support for an ageing parent, accessing disability services or participating in a community event, we want their experience with our brand to feel welcoming, professional and genuinely human.

Design That Supports Connection
Great design should never exist simply to look good.
For us, design is about making information accessible, building trust and helping people feel confident enough to take the next step. It helps us tell stories, celebrate our communities and communicate complex information in ways that are clear and engaging.
Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of designing assets across almost every aspect of our organisation, including:
- Event branding and conference materials
- Social media campaigns
- Website design and content
- Print publications and resources
- Promotional merchandise
- Internal communications
- Marketing campaigns across all four service areas
Every project has been guided by the same goal: creating experiences that reflect the warmth, professionalism and community focus of The People Project.
A Team Effort
While this award recognises our marketing team, it truly belongs to the entire organisation.
Great marketing is only possible because of the incredible people we work alongside every day. From our leadership team to our frontline staff, subject matter experts and community partners, every conversation, idea and story helps shape the work we create.
We’re also incredibly grateful to the talented team at Red Jelly for partnering with us throughout our rebrand journey and helping lay the foundations for a brand we’re proud to continue building.

Thank You, From Us
To everyone who has supported The People Project, attended our events, engaged with our content, shared our stories or trusted us to support you or your family, thank you.
Being named a finalist in the2026 CareSuper Business Excellence Awards is a wonderful milestone, but it’s also a reminder that meaningful design starts with listening to people.
We’re excited to celebrate alongside the other finalists and look forward to the Awards Gala in August. Whatever the outcome, we already feel like winners simply because we have the opportunity to do work that makes a positive difference in our communities every day.
