Brining Access to Life

Over recent months, The People Project has been proud to deliver the Access in Action community event series, bringing together community members, service providers, and local organisations across Deloraine, Campbell Town, and George Town.

The events provided welcoming and inclusive spaces for people to connect, ask questions, explore available supports, and discover services that can assist with health, wellbeing, disability, aged care, and maintaining independence.

Each Access in Action event brought together a range of local exhibitors and community partners, creating opportunities for attendees to have meaningful conversations directly with organisations and learn more about the supports available within their own communities.

A key focus of Access in Action was making information and services easier to access by bringing a variety of providers together in one place.

Across Deloraine, Campbell Town, and George Town, community members had the opportunity to:

  • Connect with local health, aged care, disability, and community service providers
  • Ask questions and better understand available support options
  • Explore resources, equipment, and services designed to support independence and wellbeing
  • Build connections with organisations supporting Tasmanian communities
