Bonded Scholars
Participants under the Bonded Medical Places Scheme have a return of service obligation (RoSO) to work for a period of twelve months to six years in rural and remote areas within Australia
As part of the Stronger Rural Health Strategy, the reforms to the Bonded Medical Places Scheme (BMP) will include:
- Streamlined administration with a legislated program
- Standard three-year return-of-service requirement
- Web portal and digital tools to manage bonded obligations
