Sorell Family Practice is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to step into a Treatment Room Team Leader role within their busy, community-focused medical practice. The Position
As the Treatment Room Team Leader, you will provide clinical leadership within the treatment room while working closely with the Practice Manager and doctors to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient daily operations.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting the nursing team.
- Coordinating nursing staff rostering.
- Delivering a range of clinical services (e.g. wound care, vaccinations, ECGs, procedures).
- Supporting Chronic Disease Management and preventative care.
- Overseeing treatment room operations and workflows.
- Managing stock, ordering and budget for treatment room consumables.
- Ensuring compliance with infection control, cold chain, and accreditation standards.
About You
They are looking for someone who:
- Is a Registered Nurse (AHPRA registered), with a minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience.
- Has experience in general practice or primary care (preferred).
- Leadership experience is preferred.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is proactive, reliable, and works well within a team.
- Has a strong focus on patient care and quality outcomes.
