You’ll work with children, young people and families in a warm, collaborative workplace where clinical expertise is valued, professional development is encouraged and your ideas and interests have room to grow.
About the Role:
As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you’ll provide neuroaffirming, relationship-based support to children and young people with diverse communication profiles. You’ll work across assessment and intervention, AAC, language, literacy, speech and social communication, while collaborating with families, educators and other professionals. The role also provides opportunities to mentor and support colleagues, contribute to service development, facilitate groups and community programs, and help shape the continued development of the service. Your caseload can be shaped around your experience and clinical interests, with the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team.
About You:
You’ll be a qualified Speech Pathologist with substantial paediatric experience, eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia and a neuroaffirming, strengths-based approach to practice. You’ll bring strong communication and relationship-building skills, a commitment to family-centred and evidence-informed practice, and an interest in mentoring and supporting others. Most importantly, Emerge is looking for someone who is curious, collaborative and enjoys sharing knowledge, asking questions and working through challenges as part of a team.
What’s on Offer:
Emerge offers full-time or part-time employment, competitive remuneration, regular supervision and support from experienced clinical leaders, a varied paediatric caseload and flexibility that recognises life outside work. You’ll have protected time for collaboration and professional development, opportunities to lead and mentor, contribute to innovative community projects and develop your clinical interests, along with established systems, resources and a genuinely supportive multidisciplinary team.
