West Tamar Physiotherapy was first established in Exeter to provide Physiotherapy services to the West Tamar and surrounding regions. We are a registered NDIS provider, GLA:D provider, and employ accredited PD Warrior trainers.

Our team currently consists of 3 physiotherapists, 5 allied health assistants, and 2 admin staff.

West Tamar Physiotherapy, located in the rural town of Exeter, Tasmania, is looking for a passionate and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. The Position:

  • Delivering high-quality, patient-centered physiotherapy services across clinic, home, community, and aged care settings.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored, evidence-based treatment plans for a diverse client population.
  • Prescribing and progressing exercise programs to support rehabilitation, mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
  • Running group exercise classes and rehabilitation programs as required in both gym and pool environments.
  • Participating in home visits and community-based care to help clients achieve meaningful functional goals.
  • Collaborating with GPs, specialists, allied health professionals, support networks, and family members to optimise client outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation and communication.
  • Participating in mentoring, clinical education, case discussions, and ongoing professional development.
  • Contributing to service improvement initiatives and helping shape the future direction of the practice
What We’re Looking For
  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy (or about to achieve)
  • Current AHPRA registration, or working towards full registration in the next 6 months
  • A valid driver’s license and Australian residency
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude
  • Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
