Are you an experienced Allied Health Professional looking for autonomy, clinical leadership, and variety? The Link Youth Health Service is seeking a skilled Allied Health Professional to provide high-level therapeutic care to young people aged 12–25.
The Position:
This is a 0.6–1.0 FTE opportunity, with flexibility to engage the successful candidate either as a direct employee of The Link Youth Health Service or through a private contractor arrangement, depending on their circumstances and preference.
The role is funded until the end of June 2027, with the potential for extension subject to ongoing funding. It offers flexible clinical hours, the opportunity to work independently, and the support of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
In this senior role, you will:
• Provide expert clinical services, including advanced assessment and evidence‑based intervention.
• Prepare professional reports for GPs and maintain comprehensive clinical documentation.
• Contribute to service improvement and leadership within the clinical team.
Essential Skills & Requirements
Relevant qualification in:
• Psychology
• Social Work
• Mental Health Nursing
• Occupational Therapy
• An allied health discipline with eligibility for relevant professional membership
Current registrations and checks:
• Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
• National Police Check
• Current driver’s licence
You will also have:
• Eligibility to work in Australia
• Eligibility for Medicare provider registration
• Extensive experience in mental health practice with young people, including risk assessment and management
• Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills
