Looking for more variety? This position perfectly blends traditional General Practice with meaningful VMO work. Based in the heart of Tasmania's North-West, you’ll manage a mix of acute care, emergency presentations, and community health, offering the full, rewarding scope of Rural Generalist in a town that truly knows your name. The Role:
GP VMO | Smithton, Tasmania | Where the Tarkine Meets the Sea.
- Total package includes up to $380k GP billings + $145k VMO + $100k TAS incentive.
- 1:4 to 1:6 VMO rotation | On-site X-ray training | House & Car provided
- Wilderness Lifestyle: Gateway to the Tarkine, Stanley Nut & Cape Grim surfing.

Skills & Experience
- Fellowship: FRACGP or FACRRM (or progressing toward it).
- Emergency Savvy: Confidence in ED settings; current ALS2 or REST certification is preferred.
- Spirit: A community-minded clinician with a genuine love for the great outdoors and a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude.
