GP – Park Grove Medical Centre & Burnie Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, Park Grove

Doctor Full time, Permanent, Part time North West Date advertised: 27 October 2026

Park Grove Medical Centre and the Burnie Medicare Urgent Care Clinic are part of the Health Hub Group – a GP-led, Tasmanian primary care group, not a corporate. We have clinics across Tasmania, including two Medicare Urgent Care Clinics, and are proud of our outstanding education and teaching program, supporting registrars, students and supervisors as well as the ongoing professional development of our GPs.

Our Burnie team is friendly, supportive and energised by building something new. You will work alongside experienced practice nurses and reception staff, led locally by Practice Manager Ange McGaffin, with the backing of the Health Hub Group’s support teams in operations, HR, billing and business development – so you can focus on medicine.

Burnie offers an affordable, relaxed coastal lifestyle with beaches on your doorstep, easy access to Cradle Mountain and the North West’s food and produce, and flights to Melbourne from nearby Burnie Airport at Wynyard.

Be part of something new. Park Grove Medical Centre and the Burnie Medicare Urgent Care Clinic sit within the Burnie Health Hub – a magnificent, purpose-designed health precinct on Tasmania’s North West Coast, complete with its own onsite café. With pathology already onsite, and radiology and pharmacy opening in early 2027, the Hub brings everything your patients need under one roof.

As a brand-new site experiencing rapid growth, we are seeking GPs to join us at the ground floor and build their practice alongside ours. Enjoy continuity-of-care general practice with the option of Medicare Urgent Care sessions, plus uncapped billing opportunities conservatively estimated at $400,000+ per year and the security of a minimum earnings guarantee of $150,000.

Earnings: Minimum earnings guarantee of $150,000 per annum, with uncapped billings conservatively estimated at $400,000+ per annum
