GP Locum – Bothwell Doctors

Nestled in the enchanting Tasmanian Central Highlands and a pleasant forty-minute drive from Hobart’s most northern suburbs, Bothwell Doctors is seeking a locum.

Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, Bothwell is a charming town that showcases the best of rural Tasmania. The Central Highlands area is renowned for its lush green landscapes, tranquil lakes, and majestic mountain ranges, providing an idyllic backdrop for both work and play. Located a pleasant fifty-minute drive from Brighton, one of Hobart’s most Northern suburbs.

The Position

Bothwell Doctors is open four days a week, with no on call or weekend work required. The practice premises is well maintained, has large windows offering beautiful natural light, and spacious, well-equipped consulting and treatment rooms.

Dates (including the Tue-Fri & Mon-Thu weeks) Any of the below 2 consecutive weeks

6-9th July (Monday to Thursday)

14-17 July (Tuesday to Friday)

20-23 July (Monday to Thursday)

28-31 July (Tuesday to Friday)

 

  • Daily rate $1500 plus GST
  • Pet friendly accommodation is available
  • Opening hours 9am – 4.30pm (closed for lunch 1pm – 2pm).
  • RN support- Tuesday (half day), Wednesday all day, Thursday (half day). Admin support each day. Practice Manager support is remote.
  • Flight transfers if travelling from interstate.
  • Car hire / access to vehicle / assistance with mileage costs if using your own vehicle.
