Ear Wax Removal Course
This practical ear irrigation workshop is designed for healthcare professionals looking to build confidence and capability in safe ear irrigation procedures. Delivered with the assistance of The Benchmarque Group, the course covers irrigation management strategies, associated risks, and appropriate referral pathways for specialist care.
Participants will gain hands-on experience through simulated examinations on mannequins, while exploring common clinical presentations, ear anatomy, infection control, contraindications, complications, and post-procedure care. The workshop also includes practical guidance around documentation, follow-up, and the safe use of wax removal equipment.

- Inveresk University site with walking access across the bridge
Lunch will be provided.
A water refill station is available on site, so please bring your own water bottle. Tea and coffee facilities are also available, with an on-site café accessible at your own cost.

Parking is available via on-street parking around Frederick Street and surrounding areas. For secure all-day parking, the Elizabeth Street Car Park is located nearby within walking distance of the venue. Please allow a little extra time to find parking during busy periods.
