Vida Medical Centre are seeking a General Practitioner (VR/Non-VR) to join their medical practice. Previously known as Rose Cottage Medical Centre, located in one of the busiest suburbs in Northern Tasmania, Launceston. This is a full time/part time position, with flexibility in hours and offering a variety of caseload. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across all age groups in all / specialised aspects of general practice.
Duties as a Medical Practitioner will include routine consultations, health assessments and care plans, immunisations, minor procedures, managing emergencies with the opportunity to pursue areas of interest in a supportive environment.
The practice has been operational for more than 30 years and undergoing a change in ownership. With substantial patient list already established with the practice as the previous doctor is retiring, you will be assured of a good patient base from the outset. The practice vision is to be committed to providing high quality care in a supportive, collaborative environment. The team is composed of dedicated professionals, including experienced GPs, practice nurses and administrative staff. They aim to create a positive, inclusive culture where patients are treated with respect and the team feels valued and supported.
