Single Employer Model Supervision Scholarship Program

Single Employer Model Supervision Scholarship Program

Applications are currently open and close on 31 March 2025.

The Single Employer Model (SEM) is a joint initiative between the Commonwealth and State Governments to pilot an employment model where general practitioner (GP) registrars have the option to be employed by the Tasmanian Heath Service (THS) while undertaking their general practice training. Commonwealth funding to support this pilot is provided to Tasmania through the Primary Care Initiative.

As part of the Primary Care Initiative, Tasmania has also received funding to support increasing supervision capacity in general practice.
