The team at Leap Health are looking for a motivated Osteopath to cover a maternity leave position in the beautiful Huon Valley, 30 minutes south of Hobart. The position will commence in March 2025, 6 months in duration but with the option to extend for the right candidate. This position is fantastic for a new graduate, or an experienced clinician as it’s a role with a pre-existing caseload ready to go.

The Position


  • 2-4 days a week- hours and days are flexible to allow for a great work/life balance
  • Remuneration negotiable- dependent on experience
  • Full reception support
  • Fully furnished room- Linen, massage creams, taping, dry needles etc provided
  • Excellent administrative and IT support- including the provision of a laptop
  • Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of exercise physiology, physiotherapy, podiatry and dietetics
  • Supporting local sporting clubs and the general community
  • There is opportunity to continue as an associate osteopath for the right candidate.
  • Regular in-house seminars with all disciplines (Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Podiatry and Dietetics) that include external guest presenters

• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation
• Demonstrated experience interacting with a wide range of people

To be considered for this role you must have:

• A tertiary qualification in Osteopathy
• Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
• CPR & First Aid Certification
• The ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated experience interacting with a wide range of people
